Qualifications & Required Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Experience working with K12 students, preferably in educational settings
- Comprehensive knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention planning
- Clear communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with staff, students, and families
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases
- Collaborative and flexible approach within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for students with behavioral needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and families in the consistent application of behavioral strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regarding student progress and strategies
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to guide ongoing interventions
- Advocate for students needs and contribute actively to creating positive educational environments
