Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Active BCBA certification in good standing
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Extensive knowledge of Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA), data collection, and behavior intervention planning
- Prior experience providing behavioral consultation or therapy in a school or educational setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and support a diverse student population
Responsibilities & Key Duties:
- Conduct thorough behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention strategies for students
- Train and mentor school staff, teachers, and paraprofessionals in the implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Evaluate student progress and modify plans as needed based on data analysis
- Facilitate team meetings, contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
- Provide crisis intervention support and model de-escalation techniques
- Maintain detailed records and ongoing communication with stakeholders
