Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a BCBA or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a school setting, located conveniently near Orland Park, IL. This full school year contract provides a unique chance to make a direct impact on learners by utilizing your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis. Work onsite with a dedicated team to implement individualized interventions as part of the ABLE program.
Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid BCBA certification, or substantial hands-on experience as an RBT
- Professional licensure in accordance with state and discipline guidelines
- Experience delivering ABA services in school environments is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and staff
- Ability to manage and support a caseload spanning different grade levels and school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral support within the ABLE program, adapting strategies to meet diverse student needs
- Serve students across specified grade levels and possibly multiple schools
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and design interventions under ABA best practices (for BCBA); implement therapy plans as directed (for RBT)
- Participate in planning meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
- Maintain documentation, progress tracking, and regular communication with key stakeholders
