Make a meaningful impact in educational settings using your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)! A full-time contract opportunity is available where youll play a key role in supporting self-contained PreK programs across several schools in the Jacksonville, FL area for the 2026-2027 academic year.
This itinerant BCBA role spans 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), with responsibilities focused on consultation rather than direct student services. Your knowledge and support will help educators optimize strategies to enhance student development and classroom success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active BCBA licensure required (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- Prior experience working within educational, early childhood, or PreK settings is highly desirable
- Strong skills in developing FBAs, behavioral interventions, and collaborative consultation
- Effective communicator willing to share expertise and model behavioral strategies for teachers and staff
- Must be comfortable supporting multiple school campuses (5-7 schools; assignments to be determined)
- Ability to complete FL fingerprint/background clearance according to district protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with teachers and staff serving self-contained PreK classes
- Provide observation, feedback, and assistance with data collection
- Develop and model behavioral strategies and classroom interventions
- Assist with classroom FBAs and data analysis to support student growth
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams and help educators implement best practices
