Job Description

This onsite role is designed for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Orange, NJ. The position offers a contract opportunity with a caseload primarily focused on K-12 students, providing behavior analysis services to improve educational and social outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students within the K-12 range.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior support strategies.
  • Collect and analyze data to modify interventions and enhance student progress.
  • Provide training and guidance to school personnel on behavior management and implementation of behavioral techniques.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold an active BCBA certification with current licensure in New Jersey.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and ethical guidelines.
  • Ability to work onsite 35 hours per week with flexibility as needed.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for multidisciplinary team engagement.
