Job Description

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Orange, NJ. This contract position runs from September 2, 2025, through June 26, 2026, offering a 35-hour workweek with scheduled hours from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM. The role requires onsite presence and involves supporting multiple nearby schools within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive behavioral testing and evaluations as part of the caseload management.
  • Provide direct support and intervention services for students diagnosed with autism across K-12 grade levels.
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and district resources to develop and implement individualized behavior plans.
  • Manage and maintain accurate documentation for all cases under your responsibility.
  • Travel reliably between assigned schools within the district proximity to ensure consistent service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential is mandatory.
  • Proven experience working in school environments with strong familiarity in school-based behavioral services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in assessing and supporting students with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Ability to perform both testing and evaluations as part of the role is required.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between multiple school locations.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within educational teams.
