Are you an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with a passion for supporting students and school-based teams? A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to provide behavioral support within a school setting near Ooltewah, TN. This position can be tailored to full-time (37.5 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week) commitments for the upcoming full academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver BCBA support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavioral teams on-site
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students experiencing behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with diverse student populations to inform and support the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with Special Education (SPED) teams to create effective strategies and interventions
- Supervise behavioral staff and assist with compliance and best practices throughout the district
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as required
Desired Background:
- Current BCBA license valid in the state of Tennessee
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to supporting students behavioral growth and success
- Familiarity with writing and implementing IEPs
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Comfortable providing supervision and guidance to RBTs and other behavior staff
