Key Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Prior experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans within school settings
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities
- Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyze data
- Collaborative approach, comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of applicable ethical and legal standards affecting student services
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students using assessments and observations to determine individual behavioral needs
- Develop, monitor, and adjust customized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide training and consultation to teachers, support staff, and families on behavioral strategies and interventions
- Collect and interpret data to measure program progress, refining supports as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and federal/state regulations
- Foster positive, empowering relationships with students, staff, and families
