Put your Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) expertise to work supporting students and educators in a contract role close to Olympia, WA. In this opportunity, youll play a vital part in advancing positive outcomes by providing essential behavioral support within a school-based environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents, ideally within educational or therapeutic settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Knowledge of data collection, behavioral assessments, and intervention planning
- Familiarity with special education processes and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) is preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Work closely with teachers and staff to model interventions and provide training on behavioral strategies
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate progress and make adjustments as needed
- Support students, using evidence-based interventions and ongoing monitoring
- Collaborate with IEP teams to ensure goals and services align with best practices
- Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering guidance and solutions for a range of behavioral needs
