This position, based in the region near Norwalk, CT, calls for a passionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst ready to make a lasting difference within a collaborative team. Youll play an essential role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, as well as supporting and supervising RBTs within the district.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Connecticut (CT) BCBA certification and state LBA required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
Core Responsibilities:
- Work closely with a team of approximately five other BCBAs to assess, design, and manage individualized behavior plans for students K-12
- Supervise and mentor 1:1 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), ensuring high-quality implementation of behavioral supports
- Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and professional development for staff as needed
- Monitor student progress and maintain clear, consistent documentation
- Adapt strategies and interventions to best meet the needs of a diverse caseload across district schools
