Job Description

Join a dynamic educational setting in Bridgeport, CT, as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This contract role offers the opportunity to support K-12 students across the district, working collaboratively within a team of five other BCBAs. The position emphasizes the development and implementation of behavior plans, alongside supervision of 1:1 Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), to deliver effective and individualized behavioral services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students across grades K-12.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of BCBAs to ensure cohesive behavioral support across the district.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to 1:1 RBTs, enhancing service delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
  • Maintain documentation and compliance with Connecticut Department of Education standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current Connecticut Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential for the state of Connecticut.
  • Proven experience working with children in K-12 educational settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload and team collaboration effectively.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality behavioral services in a school environment.

Position Details:

  • Location: Bridgeport, CT
  • Schedule: 32.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Caseload: District-wide coverage (number of students varies)
  • Employment Type: Contract
