Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with school-aged children preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practical applications
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Demonstrated skills in data collection, progress monitoring, and report writing

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and design individualized programs to address specific behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with educators to train and support staff in ABA strategies and behavior management techniques
  • Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to elementary students
  • Collect data, monitor progress, and adjust interventions for optimal student outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and progress reviews as needed
  • Offer guidance and coaching to parents and guardians on reinforcing positive behaviors at home
