Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or clinical settings
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and evidence-based interventions
- Ability to design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Adaptability and resourcefulness when addressing diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop targeted behavior intervention plans
- Train and coach instructional and support staff on ABA strategies
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Engage in team meetings and provide meaningful input on student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and school personnel
- Promote inclusion and advocate for best practices that support student growth
