Exciting opportunity awaits for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a significant impact in an educational setting for the upcoming school year. This is a newly established role within the district, offering the chance to shape behavioral support programs from the ground up and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. This full-time, onsite contract position will give you the unique opportunity to serve students across three campuses.
Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a BCBA
- Previous experience in a school environment, serving both general education and special education populations
- Strong data-driven approach to behavioral assessment and intervention
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, psychologists, and support staff
- Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing data-based behavior intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavior analytic services to students across three district schools
- Consult with and support both general and special education classrooms, including emotional support settings
- Complete comprehensive observations and conduct FBAs districtwide
- Develop and monitor individual behavior plans for students
- Participate and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Serve as a resource for faculty and staff, helping integrate behavior analysis into school practices
- Collaborate closely with school psychologists to address a variety of student needs
