Step into a dynamic educational environment by supporting diverse learners as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This contract opportunity offers full-time hours (up to 37.5 per week) during the school year, working exclusively on-site across multiple campuses within the district. Your expertise will directly empower school psychology teams with behavioral consultation, data collection, and specialized evaluation for comprehensive Full Individual and Initial Evaluations (FIIE).
Youll collaborate with educators and specialists, utilizing assessments such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS to identify nuanced skill areas and help ensure students unique needs are met. The role includes traveling between schools, conducting direct student observations, and performing Functional Behavior Assessments, all while becoming a valued resource in the school community.
What were looking for:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) license in Texas
- School-based BCBA experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with evaluative tools including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, and AFLS
- Expertise in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and providing consultation to school personnel
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable in an itinerant setting
- Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines to support student outcomes
- Must complete TEA fingerprinting for credential clearance if not already on file; process may take up to 7 days
Responsibilities include:
- Partnering with School Psychologists (LSSP) to support FIIEs
- Conducting direct observations and specialized assessments
- Providing data-driven behavioral consultation to educators
- Assisting in the development and implementation of intervention strategies
