Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and valid BCBA certification
  • Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for children and adolescents
  • Strong communication skills to effectively consult with staff, families, and students
  • Flexibility to adapt strategies for a diverse caseload ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade
  • Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional behavior assessments and create evidence-based intervention plans for assigned students
  • Provide direct and consultative support to teachers and paraprofessionals working with students
  • Deliver training to school staff on behavior management strategies and data collection methods
  • Monitor progress, assess effectiveness of interventions, and adjust programming as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation as required by the school and regulatory guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on student support plans
