Make a difference in the lives of K-12 students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working onsite in an engaging school environment near Newark, NJ. This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with educators and families, providing expert behavioral analysis and supporting students achievements.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current BCBA certification and active NJ state licensure are required
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skills in conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
- Effective communicator who can consult with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis to guide evidence-based interventions
- Commitment to maintaining compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive behavioral assessments for K-12 students
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior treatment plans
- Provide coaching, support, and professional development to teachers and paraprofessionals on behavioral strategies
- Collaborate regularly with IEP teams to ensure targeted student outcomes
- Maintain clear documentation, progress notes, and required reports for ongoing analysis
- Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and training sessions as needed
