Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably within a school setting
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans
- Familiarity with mild to moderate disabilities and the unique challenges they present
- Comfortable with data collection, assessment, and analysis
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with families, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention strategies for students in grades 1-4
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and use data to drive decision-making
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other school staff to support student success
- Supervise and provide ongoing guidance to RBTs, ensuring high-quality therapy delivery
- Engage with families, offering training and support to enhance student achievement at school and home
- Document progress, update reports, and participate in IEP meetings as required
