Job Description
Opportunity for a full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a K-12 caseload in a school setting located in Newark, NJ. This onsite contract position offers the chance to apply specialized skills in behavior analysis within an educational environment, focusing on delivering services that enhance student development and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs and guide intervention strategies
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and data collection
- Monitor and analyze student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to meet goals
Qualifications:
- Valid New Jersey license and certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Proven experience working with K-12 students in a school setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a full-time caseload of 35-40 hours weekly onsite
