Job Description

A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available within a K-12 educational setting in Newark, NJ. This contract position runs from September 2, 2025, through June 26, 2026, requiring 35 hours per week with work hours from 8:15 AM to 3:15 PM or 3:05 PM. The role is entirely onsite and supports a caseload spanning multiple nearby schools.

Responsibilities include conducting both testing and evaluations for students, specifically focusing on those with autism. The candidate must demonstrate strong school-based experience working across K-12 grade levels and manage a diverse caseload within the school district framework. District support will be provided to ensure effective collaboration and resource access.

Key qualifications and experience required:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential.
  • Proven experience working with an autism caseload in K-12 settings.
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive testing and evaluations.
  • Strong background in school-based behavioral services.
  • Comfortable managing caseload across multiple proximate schools.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between school locations.
