Job Description

Make a positive impact as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a collaborative educational environment. This contracted position offers an engaging opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals working to develop and implement effective behavioral support strategies. You'll be providing district-wide coverage, collaborating closely with approximately five other BCBAs, and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure the highest quality services.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Current Connecticut BCBA certification and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student behavior needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced BCBAs and school staff to promote positive outcomes for students
  • Supervise RBTs and provide direction on the implementation of behavior support plans
  • Offer training and support to educators, staff, and families regarding behavior management strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation and progress data for students across K-12 settings
  • Adapt plans as necessary to address changing needs within the district
