Job Description
Make a positive impact as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a collaborative educational environment. This contracted position offers an engaging opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals working to develop and implement effective behavioral support strategies. You'll be providing district-wide coverage, collaborating closely with approximately five other BCBAs, and supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to ensure the highest quality services.
Essential Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Current Connecticut BCBA certification and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess student behavior needs and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with a team of experienced BCBAs and school staff to promote positive outcomes for students
- Supervise RBTs and provide direction on the implementation of behavior support plans
- Offer training and support to educators, staff, and families regarding behavior management strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress data for students across K-12 settings
- Adapt plans as necessary to address changing needs within the district
