Make an impact by supporting students with moderate to severe cognitive needs in a specialized educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who brings expertise, compassion, and a collaborative spirit to a school-based environment.
As a BCBA within the Meadowood Program for K8th grade students, youll provide behavior analytic oversight, design individualized behavior intervention plans, and support program implementation for a diverse student population. You will work full-time, Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 4:15 PM, engaging with educators and support staff to foster positive, effective learning experiences.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, active Delaware BCBA licensure (required)
- Demonstrated school-based or K8 educational experience (preferred)
- Experience working with students who have moderate to severe cognitive abilities
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to remain flexible and responsive within a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and related services to promote best behavioral practices
- Monitor and analyze student progress; adjust interventions as needed
- Provide direct support to students and consultative guidance to staff
- Participate in program planning meetings and staff training sessions
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in accordance with school and licensure requirements
