In this role, you will:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and analyze data to inform intervention strategies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent application of behavioral supports.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for school staff regarding behavior management best practices.
- Stay current on evidence-based interventions and adjust methodologies as needed to meet student goals.
- Deliver direct support to students, including observation, modeling, and feedback.
- Document all behavioral interventions and progress in accordance with school and regulatory standards.
Desired qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings and supporting diverse student populations.
- Strong knowledge of behavioral assessment tools and best practices in positive behavioral supports.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfortable facilitating team meetings and providing consultative services to staff.
