Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming school year. This part-time, onsite contract opportunity centers on collaborating with an educational team, delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions, and promoting positive outcomes for a diverse student population near Naperville, IL.
Key Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Active Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) license
- Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
- Strong collaborative skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
- Dedication to ethical practice, professionalism, and continuous learning
- Public Educator License (PEL) not required
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to deliver training, strategies, and support
- Monitor student progress, collect and analyze data, and adjust interventions as needed
- Lead or participate in IEP meetings to ensure alignment of behavioral goals and supports
- Provide supervision to paraprofessionals as appropriate
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all regulatory standards
