Desired Skills & Background:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Valid Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) credential (PEL not required)
- Experience in school settings preferred, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans
- Dedication to supporting students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze student needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative supports to teachers and other school personnel
- Deliver ongoing training for staff on behavioral strategies and interventions
- Collect data and evaluate progress to inform ongoing supports
- Maintain compliance with documentation and ethical standards
- Engage collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support overall student success
