Desired Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field
- Demonstrated experience conducting functional behavioral assessments and creating Behavior Intervention Plans within a K-12 school environment
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and best practices
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills for interacting with staff, students, and families
- Ability to train and consult with teachers and school personnel regarding behavioral strategies
- State licensure/certification (if required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans to address diverse student needs
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and collaborate on data collection and analysis
- Provide consultative services and direct support to educators and paraprofessionals
- Offer professional development and training sessions on behavior management systems and ABA principles
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adapting interventions as needed to promote success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive documentation of interventions, outcomes, and progress notes
