Qualifications & Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and supervise behavior intervention plans
- Strong assessment, observation, and data collection skills
- Effective collaborator with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Knowledge of current best practices in ABA and special education
- Comfortable working across varied grade levels and with diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and create individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative services to students, teachers, and school teams
- Offer training and support to school staff on strategies and evidence-based interventions
- Monitor progress, collect data, and modify plans as needed to ensure student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, sharing expertise and advocating for students needs
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create positive learning environments
- Maintain thorough records according to school policies and state/federal requirements
