Job Description

A professional opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide specialized behavioral support within a K-12 school setting in Modesto, CA. This contract position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours and focuses on delivering expert services to students and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide BCBA support and supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and the behavioral team.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students experiencing behavioral challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized Behavioral Support Plans in collaboration with the Special Education (SPED) team.
  • Support the IEP planning process by offering behavioral expertise.
  • Focus on working with diverse populations, including experience with adult individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
  • Monitor ongoing implementation of behavioral interventions and provide staff training and oversight to ensure effective support.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid BCBA license in California.
  • Possess a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential.
  • Experience working with both school-aged and adult populations with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Strong skills in developing behavioral strategies and guiding multidisciplinary teams.

Position Details:

  • Location: Onsite in Modesto, CA.
  • Contract type: NSY (Non-School Year).
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time (20 hours/week).
