A leadership role is available for a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support special education students within a school setting in Middletown, DE. This contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and requires onsite attendance with a 37.5-hour workweek.
The successful candidate will serve as a case manager or behavioral support provider for students with special needs, utilizing their expertise to develop and implement individualized behavior plans. Prior in-school experience working with special education populations is essential to effectively manage caseload responsibilities and collaborate with educational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Serve as case manager or behavioral consultant for assigned special education students
- Conduct assessments and data analysis to guide interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
- Provide training and support to school staff as needed
Qualifications:
- DE licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required
- Proven experience working with special education students in a school environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to student-centered behavioral supports
