Work Hours: 37.5 hours per week (onsite)
Job Description:
An impactful opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting a district-wide caseload in Mesquite, Texas. This full-time role runs from August 11, 2026, through May 28, 2027, and involves working across multiple school sites based on evolving needs. The BCBA will support both general education and special education students, with a focus on addressing behavioral disproportionality and improving student outcomes. This role also includes providing staff training and supervising RBTs, making it ideal for a collaborative and experienced professional who thrives in dynamic school environments.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas BCBA certification/license
- School-based experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting both general education and special education populations
- Strong communication, leadership, and training skills
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule across multiple school sites
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Support initiatives addressing behavioral disproportionality among student populations
- Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to implement effective behavior strategies
- Provide training and ongoing support to school staff on behavior management practices
- Supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Travel between school sites to meet the needs of students and staff
