Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting high school students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, working part-time on a flexible contract for the 2024-2025 academic year. Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
- Possession of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL)
- In-depth understanding of high school-aged learners and familiarity with applied behavior analysis in school environments
- Effective communication and team-collaboration skills
- Ability to work 1 to 2 days per week on site
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement behavior intervention and support plans for high school students
- Conduct student observations, functional behavior assessments, and data analysis to inform individualized strategies
- Consult with multidisciplinary staff and participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings as needed
- Guide and train school personnel on behavior strategies, data documentation, and positive reinforcement
- Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements for behavioral services
- Collaborate with educational teams to ensure student success and progress monitoring
