Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and unrestricted BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) methodologies
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Proven ability to assess, design, and modify behavior intervention plans
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Committed to fostering a supportive and respectful school culture
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support personnel, and parents to ensure plan fidelity
- Train and provide guidance to school staff in effective strategies and data collection
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and report outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and help integrate ABA practices within school frameworks
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements in behavioral health
