Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic school environment. This contract position places you at the forefront of positive behavioral interventions, collaborating with educational teams to help students achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Demonstrated experience working in a school or educational setting, particularly with students requiring behavioral supports
- Comprehensive understanding of behavior intervention plan (BIP) development and implementation
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting related to behavioral progress
- Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities with educators, families, and related service providers
- Flexibility, professionalism, and adaptability within fast-paced school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to embed behavior strategies throughout all instructional environments
- Train and coach staff in the implementation of behavioral interventions and data collection
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as needed
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insight and guidance on behavioral needs
- Keep comprehensive records and documentation in accordance with school policies and best practices
