Make a meaningful impact in the educational setting as an experienced BCBA supporting students and staff in a school environment. This contract opportunity allows you to apply your expertise and passion for behavior analysis in a collaborative, school-based team near Manteca, CA.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Previous experience working in K-12 school settings or with children/adolescents is highly desirable
- Strong background in developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Able to effectively train and support school staff and families in evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Capable of maintaining thorough documentation and managing multiple cases efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments for students as referred by school staff or IEP teams
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and support personnel to ensure interventions are effective and appropriate
- Provide direct support, consultation, and professional development to educators and staff on behavioral best practices
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to measure intervention progress and effectiveness
- Participate in IEP meetings and team planning sessions to advocate for appropriate behavioral supports
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with school policies and professional standards
