Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification in good standing
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or related field
  • Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and creating Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Skill in training and supporting teams on evidence-based interventions
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and student progress reporting
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families
  • Previous experience in K-12 education settings preferred

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess student behaviors through observation, data collection, and analysis
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior plans targeting measurable improvements
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and administration to support behavioral needs in both individual and classroom settings
  • Provide professional development and training to school staff on behavioral interventions and best practices
  • Attend IEP meetings as a behavioral subject matter expert, contributing to the team approach for integrated support
  • Maintain documentation and prepare progress reports in compliance with school policies
  • Serve as a resource for students, families, and staff by promoting a positive and inclusive school environment
