Job Description

This full-time, contract-based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) role is designed for passionate professionals with a commitment to positive behavioral change. Based on-site, youll support students aged 222 during the 26/27 academic year, working closely with educational teams to address behavioral challenges and empower staff and students alike.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Delaware BCBA licensure/certification (must provide confirmation with application)
- Previous experience in a school-based BCBA position, especially with populations affected by autism or severe disabilities
- Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies
- Demonstrated expertise conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and writing Behavior Support Plans (BSPs)
- Team-oriented, collaborative approach and strong communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a behavioral resource for students and school staff, focusing on those with complex needs
- Lead and participate in crisis response and de-escalation interventions
- Conduct FBAs, develop and implement effective BSPs
- Collaborate with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to develop behavioral goals tailored to each student
- Facilitate accurate data collection and interpretation to monitor progress
- Guide and educate staff on best practices for managing challenging behaviors
