Key Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in California
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and best practices
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
- Comfortable working onsite, conducting observations, and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt strategies to individual student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess student behaviors and create tailored intervention and support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
- Provide training and ongoing support to school staff regarding ABA strategies and intervention
- Collect and analyze behavioral data, modifying plans as needed for optimal success
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Help foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
