Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Full Time, School Setting Long Beach, CA
A school-based opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking to contribute expertise in applied behavior analysis within a dynamic educational environment. This full-time contract role entails working 37.5 hours per week in a school setting located in Long Beach, California, providing specialized behavioral support to students with diverse needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based strategies
- Monitor and analyze student progress, adapting plans as needed to ensure targeted outcomes
- Provide training and support to school staff on ABA techniques and behavioral strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation for compliance and reporting purposes
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
- Proven experience working in school settings with students requiring behavioral support
- Strong knowledge of behavior analytic principles and intervention methods applicable to educational contexts
