Take the next step in your career as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst supporting students in a rewarding, year-round school environment near Laurel, MD. In this contract role, you'll provide vital behavioral services across three classrooms, making a difference for 18 students of varying ages. Collaborate with educators and specialists to empower learners, foster a positive school climate, and help each student reach their greatest potential.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification valid in Maryland
- Previous experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents
- Proficient in conducting assessments, developing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions and support across all age ranges
- Create, implement, and update individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Consult regularly with teachers, school staff, and families to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Collect and analyze behavior data to guide clinical decisions
- Provide ongoing training and support for classroom staff
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with all regulations
