This part-time position (25 hours per week) is based near Lakewood and Matawan, NJ, and is ideal for professionals with Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials looking to support children in grades 1 through 4.
Leverage your expertise by collaborating with educators and supporting staff to deliver positive behavioral interventions and tailored strategies for a diverse caseload. As a valued contributor, you may also guide Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), further enhancing your leadership skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
- Prior experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Intervention Plans
- Experience or interest in supervising RBTs is a plus
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Passion for helping elementary students succeed both academically and behaviorally
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and design individualized behavior plans for students in grades 1-4
- Partner with teachers and staff to implement data-driven interventions
- Offer training, oversight, and support for RBTs as needed
- Monitor progress, adjust strategies, and communicate results with educational teams and families
- Foster a supportive, inclusive school environment that encourages positive behavioral growth
