Step into a rewarding part-time role supporting elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities. The position requires 25 hours per week and is conveniently located near both Lakewood and Matawan, NJ.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Previous experience working in a K-5 or elementary school environment preferred
- Proficiency supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Strong collaboration skills with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
- Experience in supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) is a plus
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavioral intervention plans
- Strong data analysis and report writing skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct behavioral support and conduct assessments for students in grades 1-4
- Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized behavioral intervention plans
- Collaborate with instructional staff and families to ensure continuity and consistency of support
- Lead training sessions or provide consultative support to staff regarding behavior strategies
- Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to ensure fidelity and consistency in program implementation
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to school and district standards
