Job Description

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Previous experience implementing ABA in educational or pediatric settings
  • Proficient in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments and developing Behavior Intervention Plans
  • Strong communication and consultation skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to provide training and guidance to teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
  • Detail-oriented documentation and data collection abilities
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic school situations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and create evidence-based behavior intervention strategies
  • Oversee and monitor plan implementation, adjusting as necessary for student progress
  • Collaborate with Special Education staff, general educators, and administration
  • Lead training sessions on behavior intervention and data collection procedures
  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate records, reporting findings and improvements
  • Attend IEP meetings to share insights on student development and advocate for supports
  • Serve as a resource for best practices in behavior management across the school community
