Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Detail-oriented approach to data collection and reporting
  • Passion for supporting students with diverse needs, particularly those with autism or other behavioral challenges

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students behavioral, social, and academic needs using evidence-based practices
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Train and mentor school staff on ABA strategies and techniques
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform program adjustments
  • Collaborate with special education teams and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Communicate progress and recommendations clearly to educators and families
  • Stay updated on best practices and maintain compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
