Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Detail-oriented approach to data collection and reporting
- Passion for supporting students with diverse needs, particularly those with autism or other behavioral challenges
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students behavioral, social, and academic needs using evidence-based practices
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Train and mentor school staff on ABA strategies and techniques
- Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data to inform program adjustments
- Collaborate with special education teams and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Communicate progress and recommendations clearly to educators and families
- Stay updated on best practices and maintain compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
