Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing
- Experience providing behavioral services in school environments preferred
- Familiarity with data collection, assessment, and ABA principles
- Excellent communication skills for working with staff, students, and parents
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and design individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to promote positive behavioral outcomes
- Provide direct and consultative support to students displaying challenging behaviors
- Offer ongoing staff training and professional development in applied behavior analysis techniques
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and data collection to track behavioral improvements
- Participate in IEP and team meetings, contributing expertise to support student success
