In this role, you will:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop data-driven behavior intervention plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to model and coach evidence-based behavioral strategies for classroom success.
- Train and supervise paraprofessionals and school staff on best practices in applied behavior analysis (ABA) to ensure program fidelity.
- Gather and analyze behavioral data, making insightful recommendations to support student progress and goal attainment.
- Participate in student support meetings, IEP teams, and interdisciplinary collaborations to create comprehensive support systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research in ABA, integrating innovative approaches into everyday practice.
What were seeking:
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience working with K-12 students in a school or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse school community
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP process, and behavior management principles
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and adapt in dynamic environments
