Step into a vital role supporting students and educators in a dynamic school district as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the upcoming academic year. As the first BCBA in this district, youll help establish foundational practices and become a key resource for both general and special education teams across three district school sites. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering a collaborative, data-driven environment focused on student success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience working in school settings highly preferred
- Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting to guide intervention decisions
- Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Comfort working with both general education and special education populations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to provide an FBA sample and professional references during the application process
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavior analytic services to students at three district schools
- Conduct classroom and student observations, including within emotional support settings
- Complete Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop effective behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school psychologists, and support staff to implement strategies district-wide
- Participate actively in IEP meetings to ensure each students needs are met
- Help shape and grow the BCBA discipline within the district by modeling best practices and empowering staff
This is a full-time, onsite contract role (3740 hours per week) that offers the chance to make a tangible difference in an innovative educational setting. Youll travel between three vibrant schools, working with supportive teams that value collaboration and expertise.
