Job Description

A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Jersey City, NJ. This onsite contract role offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, serving students across the K-12 spectrum. This position requires an active BCBA license and certification in New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to implement and monitor behavior strategies.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide training and support to school personnel on behavior management techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and ethical standards in all behavioral practices.

Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification and licensure in New Jersey.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and prioritize student needs.
