An exciting opportunity awaits professionals who are Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) with a strong background in supporting K-12 students. Positioned near Jersey City, NJ, this full-time contract role spans the upcoming academic year, with a schedule running from 8:15AM-3:15PM (or 3:05PM), Monday through Friday. Your path begins September 2, 2025, and concludes June 26, 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful difference across several schools within close proximity of each other.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in both testing and evaluations and possess significant experience working with students with autism. This role allows for collaborative engagement and direct impact, as youll be providing critical behavioral supports within an onsite setting and will receive support at the district level.
Qualifications:
- Valid BCBA certification required
- Previous, substantial experience working in K-12 school settings
- Demonstrated background in conducting both testing and evaluations
- Expertise in implementing interventions for students on the autism spectrum
- Comfortable managing responsibilities across multiple schools
- Reliable transportation necessary for travel between sites
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and interpret data for educational planning
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school staff
- Provide training and guidance to staff on evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation
- Serve as a resource for best practices in autism support and intervention across assigned schools
