Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings highly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans
- Ability to train and support teachers, staff, and families in behavior strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Develop, implement, and oversee data-driven behavioral interventions
- Provide coaching and in-service trainings for teachers and staff
- Monitor student progress and adapt plans as needed for ongoing effectiveness
- Communicate regularly with school staff and families to ensure continuity of support
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
