Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Experience working within school systems or directly with children/adolescents
- Solid understanding of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) principles and best practices
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with educators, families, and support personnel
- Ability to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans tailored to individual needs
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining ethical standards
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other relevant evaluations for students
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Train and support school staff on ABA strategies and data collection procedures
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of interventions and progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsincluding teachers, counselors, and administratorsto support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for behavior supports
- Communicate regularly with families to ensure consistency of support across home and school environments
