Job Description

A Behavioral Specialist with BCBA certification is needed to provide expert support in a school setting located in Jacksonville, FL. This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with students and educators to develop and implement behavior intervention plans while promoting positive behavioral outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Provide training and coaching to school staff on behavior management strategies and data collection methods
  • Monitor student progress, analyze behavioral data, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with all stakeholders
