Key Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification in good standing
- Experience providing services in educational or pediatric settings
- Strong knowledge of functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Compassion, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges
- Familiarity with data collection and progress monitoring tools
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret data to develop effective interventions
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide coaching and support to teachers and paraprofessionals
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on goal setting
- Offer training to school staff on best practices for behavior management
- Regularly consult with families to ensure continuity across environments
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of services provided
