Exciting opportunity for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to make a difference in school-based PreK programs for the upcoming academic year! Enjoy a full-time, contract-based role supporting educators and staff in the Jacksonville, FL area, with a start date of August 10, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027. This position is exclusively onsite, with the chance to travel between multiple schools to provide essential behavioral support and expertise.
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active BCBA licensure required
- Strong background in working within educational or PreK settings highly preferred
- Ability to be itinerant, supporting approximately 5-7 schools (final assignments to be confirmed)
- Skilled in providing consultation, observation, behavior intervention support, and collaboration with PreK educators
- Previous experience in developing Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), modeling behavioral strategies, and supporting data collection
- Willingness to complete fingerprinting for credentialingcandidates with previous FL district fingerprinting may expedite this process
- Clear communication and documentation skills are essential
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consult with self-contained PreK program teachers, recommending behavioral strategies and supports
- Model effective intervention techniques, assist with data collection, and observe classroom environments
- Develop FBAs and other supportive documentation
- Travel between assigned schools, working as a vital resource for staff and administrators
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and credentialing requirements as stipulated by the district
